Project Overview: In 2021, I took on an exciting project called Stepplr, a goal-tracking app designed to help users achieve their objectives through a streamlined and engaging digital experience. This app was all about making goal management both practical and enjoyable.
Technologies & Tools:
- React Native: Used for crafting a cross-platform mobile experience that feels native on both iOS and Android devices.
- Redux: Implemented for state management to ensure the app's performance and responsiveness.
- TypeScript: Employed to write safer code with fewer bugs and enhance development productivity.
- Firebase: Utilized as a versatile backend to manage database operations, user authentication, and hosting.
- Expo: A great tool that sped up the development process, allowing for rapid iteration and testing.
My Contributions:
- Product Engineer: I played a key role in both conceiving and developing the product, ensuring that every feature aligns with our users' needs.
- Frontend and Backend Engineering: My involvement spanned the full stack, working on the app's interface to ensure a seamless user experience and on the backend to make sure the data flows were solid and secure.
- Project Manager: I also managed the project, coordinating the team's efforts, setting timelines, and delivering within the project's scope.
Project Highlights: Stepplr was a project that sharpened my full-stack development skills. It was particularly fulfilling to see how the technologies I used came together to create a cohesive product that users would interact with daily to track their progress towards their goals.
