Context
Big goals are intimidating. Stepplr was built around a simple idea: break goals into small, achievable steps and suddenly they feel manageable. Add a bit of motivation through trophies and the ability to work with friends, and the product starts to feel genuinely useful.
What I Built
I worked alongside Charles Bechaud, who handled marketing and UX/UI design. I owned the technical side: architecture, the React Native and Expo app, and the Firebase backend that kept the whole thing moving.
What I Am Proud Of
This was one of those projects that touched everything from UX prototypes to backend logic to release pipelines, so I got a full view of how the pieces fit together. It was a good reminder that a simple idea can still need a lot of careful engineering to feel smooth.
Stepplr also sharpened how I think about habit formation and user motivation, which is useful any time the product depends on repeat behavior.
