The Idea

Circles was my first end-to-end project, from concept to a fully operational iOS and Android app. The core idea was simple but powerful: create social activities tied to GPS locations. Users could form circles of friends, plan activities together, and discover what's happening around them geographically.

What I Built

I handled everything technically: authentication, the entire app architecture, backend infrastructure with Firebase, and even the UI/UX design in Figma. It was a complete learning experience, touching every layer of the stack.

The app worked beautifully. We shipped it fully operational, and it was genuinely fulfilling to see something I'd built from scratch actually work in people's hands.

The Learning

This project taught me what it takes to ship a complete product. While we eventually paused development, the experience was invaluable; I learned how to think about product, design, and engineering holistically. It's the project that showed me I could build something real.
