Context

Circles was my first end-to-end project, from concept to a fully operational iOS and Android app. The core idea was simple but strong: tie social activities to GPS locations so friends could plan around where they actually were.

What I Built

I handled the technical side across the stack: authentication, app architecture, backend infrastructure with Firebase, and the UI/UX design work in Figma. It was a true full-product build, so I had to make decisions that worked for both the experience and the implementation.

What I Am Proud Of

We shipped a real app, not just a prototype, and it worked across both mobile platforms. More importantly, it taught me how much better product decisions get when design, engineering, and backend constraints are all considered together from the start.

Even though development eventually paused, Circles is the project that proved to me I could take an idea all the way to something people could use.
